The Marotte factory was born in 1933 from a passion handed down from generation to
generation : bespoke woodworking from small to large production runs, with passion and quality.
We produce a wide range of made-to-measure products, from small to large series, with passion and quality. At marotte, our design office is dedicated to the custom design and development of your projects and specific needs: luxury boxes, packaging, technical parts, displays, wooden stands, etc.
Initially used to make furniture, the wood was later shaped and assembled into luxury boxes. Since 1978, the Marotte workshops have been fully dedicated to creating wooden boxes designed as precious jewel cases for the most prestigious brands.
Marotte's CSR approach is based on an ongoing examination of the environmental, social and governance issues that the company faces and must respond to.
This approach leads us to take into account a number of fundamental themes, which are presented here: the safety and quality of life at work of our employees, responsible wood purchasing, eco-design of our products and raising our customers’ awareness of the environmental footprint of their projects.
As a way of reducing our carbon footprint and limiting the impact of forestry on biodiversity, Marotte has a long-standing commitment to purchasing local wood from sustainably managed forests.
The prevention of accidents and other occupational hazards, the continuous improvement of working conditions and the development of employee loyalty are all social and governance initiatives undertaken by Marotte.
Raising our customers’ awareness of the environmental footprint of their projects is an indirect but major way of reducing our own footprint. Marotte provides them with analysing tools that make the environmental aspect of a project a decision-making criteria in its own right.
Marotte carefully selects its wood directly from the Jura's forests, in partnership with local sawyers to guarantee quality and durability. Each piece of wood is therefore destined to become an integral part of exclusive and personalised creations that reflect the excellence and elegance of our products.
Our teams are ready to work with you to bring to life bespoke products that will exceed your expectations. Together, we can shape the future of your brand with elegance and precision.
We look forward to contributing to your success.
